Tips to reduce signs of skin aging

The life expectancy has growth considerable the last decades and will continue to growth to overtake in proportion the younger population. Many companies are deeply interested to develop and commercialize  the fountain of youth.

Skin aging signs known as:

  • Laxity (sagging),
  • Rhytids (wrinkles),
  • Photoaging: erythema (redness), dyspigmentation (brown discolorations), solar elastosis (yellowing), keratoses (abnormal growths), and poor texture.

Don't Over-Wash Your Face
Your skin normally produces GOOD natural oils. If you wash your face too often, with hot water and strong soap, you wash away this protection. Use a soap with moisturizers, or a gel or cream cleanser instead. Avoid HOT water,  just tap cold or room temperature water strips skin of moisture and natural oils that protect against wrinkles.

                                                   Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs)

Examples of AHAs: glycolic, lactic, and citric. These natural acids are defoliants, they lift away the top layer of dead skin cells. AHAs can exfoliate the uppermost layers of skin.

AHAs helps decrease the appearance of pores, fine lines, and surface wrinkles, especially around the eyes. Stronger forms of AHAs may help boost collagen production in your skin. That’s a protein that gives your skin strength and firmness. Using AHAs can make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen every day

Wear Your Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an antioxidant compound listed as L-ascorbic acid ascorbyl palmitate in beauty products. Creams or lotions containing vitamin C can boost the amount of collagen that your skin produce.
